2024 Age Groups
The following age groups will be:
Rookie – 3 years old before June 30, 2024 to 4 year olds
Goal: The goal of the Rookie program is to introduce the game of baseball to youngsters in a positive manner. Skill acquirement and refinement is not the end goal of the Rookie age group, rather it is for the players to have fun and practice their use of gross motor skills by using baseball as a medium. Skills such as throwing, catching, swinging and running bases will be taught. Parent involvement and attendance in this program is mandatory and will be an integral part of the program.
Role of Association: Rookie will be a parent based program. The association will provide the parents with the program manual that will outline drills and activities for the year. The association will also provide the necessary equipment for the program to run. No coaches will be specifically assigned.
Jr Rally Cap - 5 to 7 year old (2017, 2018, & players born in 2019 - 5 years old before June 30)
Goal: The goal of the Jr Rally Cap program is to begin the process of skill acquisition for the players in the areas of hitting, throwing, and catching and have all players participating in game situations. In this category, no players should be idle during the hour. The teams in this category will be 7-9 players in numbers.
This age group will use parents soft tossing and batting tees for the scheduled games and will follow a three team game process where there will be a team on defense, a team on offense, and a team practicing skills in the outfield. Each team will rotate after a team has gone through the batting order once.

Sr Rally Cap - 8 to 9 year old (2015, 2016)
Goal: The Sr Rally Cap program will start the progression of a 4 inning game between two teams. Within the game structure, teams will use a pitching machine to develop confidence hitting a moving ball. The teams will play nine man baseball with all players playing at least two innings per game. Games will consist of three outs or bat through the line-up per half inning and no stealing.
Role of Association: The Sr Rally Cap program will be run by the association. It will assign players to teams and coaches for each of the team. A schedule will be made by the association as well. The association will also provide instruction to coaches. Emails and an instructional booklet will be available to coaches that will outline the game process and instructional drills for skill acquisition.
11U – 10 to 11 year old (2013, 2014)
Goal: The 11U Division will be the same as the Sr Rally Cap level except that players will begin to use players to pitch in games. Instruction will be provided to the coaches and the players on the rules and the skill development of pitching. Stealing bases will be allowed based on the Baseball Canada rules for the 11U Division.

13U - 12 to 13 year old (2011, 2012)
The 13U division will be 9 person baseball with everyone bats rules. The program consists of practices and games.
15U - 14 to 15 year old (2009, 2010)
The 15U / 18U program is designed to keep players playing baseball. It is participatory in nature and will consist mostly of pick-up games of the participants that attend.
18U - 16 to 18 year old (2006, 2007, 2008)
The 15U / 18U program is designed to keep players playing baseball. It is participatory in nature and will consist mostly of pick-up games of the participants that attend.
